Swoosh

           Swoosh is a curved shape that is used as symbol representing the name of a company or product. The word was originally used for the symbol of the Nike company. Within three centuries the early People used symbol just to represent their beliefs and communicate with one another in times of persecution. And because symbol could be easily explained and understood. In 1971 a young Oregon design student create a logo (Nike) for the NIke CEO. And Nike became popular.When people saw the symbol of Nike, they all know what products are these. From the successful of Nike, in today, more and more company follow Nike to do it. Many and many of them are succeed, such as, Benz,Pesi, and so on. Symbol is at first for the religious icon and develope into an advertising for a company into people's brain. And make people easy to remember the products of the company. Symbol also a culture in every century.

Reflection of the music

Music always makes people closer and closer. The house of blue certificated this. The band of the house of blue, the audiences are strange to each other. Due to the music, we sing and dance and enjoy happiness together. The result is that why so many people love concert, however the ticker is very expensive. On doing the research music, I know music has many genre, blues, rocks, rocks and roll, punk, country and westerns, these genres I have heard before, but some special I never heard, such as, newage, soul, reggae, grunge, SKA, protest song. I have learnt from my classmates’ presentations. I know what year this music was born, popular and their instruments. Most of them are use guitar.  Guitar has the important place in perform music.  A lot of the music is with loud voice and giving the high mood to people and make them feeling happy and relax. Rap is the most popular music on this generation. It is develop from African people in general and black people born in the U.S.  The origins west Africa “men of word” mixed American music is one style of the rap, another is Jamaican folk stories that tell stories in rhyme. At past rap just was a street music and now became popular to everyone. From the presentation of the songs, I know deeply about rap and the people in their unsatisfied feeling in the rap and hit hop song, to show the other .side of the society. For instance, violence, sex, money, gay, all these are so easy to listen to in the rap songs. Rap songs are using the native language to tell something with some not clear words often.

An haha moment for me is listening to the music in the house of blues. In there I can enjoy the music, move by following the music and relax the body. And it is different from the disco and club. I feel that this style is more high class that that. I real like this. The knowledge of this unit express on a bumper sticker is special and touching my heart. Give me another side to touch the real music . One thing I learnt how to add the music list into the blogger, I learnt to add into it for four hours of my whole night. And I succeed. I will add the new and favorite music to the blogger anytime. And from this lesson, I learned many style music, and not just as before the country music, soft music. Actually, some heavy music like rocks, rap, sometimes makes you feel high and flexible.

Reflection of Rap

Reading the history of the Rap music, there is something hurt my heart. In the first listening to rap was several years ago. Some young guys who wore the jeans were going to down and with a cap raped movement and spoke something that I couldn’t catch the meaning what they talked about. In my opinion song must be sing, but not talk or speak. When I read the history of the rap has two form. One is the origin of rap telling the stories rhyme. Another is the captives mixed American music with the beats they remembered from Africa. Rap evolved from African people in general and black people born in the U.S. in particular. They just tell something with their native and unsatisfied voice about the society and the government. This is a new generation music. Every generation has their own music. This generation’s music is rap. Rap is a  music add word that tell a story or something in a very fast very fast and native tongue to speak.There were no real set rules, except to be original and to rhyme on time to the beat of music. Anything was possible. I think I will accept this new thing and appreciate it.

Reflection about House of Blues

    Visiting the House of Blues give me a renew about the Blues. Today our class are followed by Gitte to a special place, House of Blues. We have a class there about Blues.The band taught me a real music class about Blues. This is the first time that I am so close and envole into the real music world. It sounds better than listen to the CD. The feeling is good. As an audient on the spot, it real makes me feel high and active. I can't control my body to follow the music. This band showed the Blues genre first, a little sad to hear, then showed the Jazz and Rock and Roll, the genre are so light and fast, make you happy and forget everything and just move your body. Because this is the first time for me to hearing so crazy music, I was shy of showing my action. But I saw the audients downstairs who were so exited and dancing with the music. At that time , I realized that the Blues and Rocks are so powerful. They are popular in generation to generation for such a long time. And maybe continue to affect the next and the next generation. Tell you the true, I don't like the Rocks and  Hard Rocks. Because I think they are too noise and too crazy for me. I can't bear someone who play the guitar and shake the body and hair and shout a very loud in the station. But now I have a little change about this style of music. The combining bluesy improvisations is also exiting. I have a little like the blues rock.
